Цели и задачи ассоциации - изучение и сохранение
биоценозов, экосистем и ландшафтов, координация деятельности научных коллективов
и общественных организаций в области охраны окружающей природной среды,
содействие развитию школьного и вузовского экологического образования, содействие
экологизации экономики, градостроительства, сельского хозяйства и других
видов деятельности, участие в проведении экологических экспертиз проектов,
содействие развитию вузовского и школьного экологического образования, осуществление
научно-популярных публикаций по биоразнообразию, установление творческих
связей с украинскими и зарубежными общественными организациями, общественными
деятелями и учеными, занимающимися рассматриваемыми проблемами.

The main kinds of association activities are:
the research of scientific problems of biological and landscape diversity
( the book " Biological and landscape diversity of Crimea: problems and
outlooks " is published; the opening-up " Policies of conservation of biological
and landscape diversity of Crimea" finishes. - Project of the Crimean program
of implementation " Policies of conservation of biodiversity of Ukraine
"), coordination of activity of scientific collectives and public organizations
engaging problems of biological and landscape diversity, participation in
realization of ecological expertises of the projects, contributing to development
of high school and school ecological education, implementation of the popular
scientific publications on biodiversity, opening of creative communications
with the Ukrainian and foreign public organizations, and public figures.
